Ladies and Gentlemen - One of your buzz bands of next year. The Temper Trap are from Melbourne, Australia. They have just recorded their debut album with Jim Abbiss (Adele, Arctic Monkeys) so that should give you some indication of where they are heading. festival this, backstage that, record deal this, worldwide that – and the common perception will soon become an accepted wisdom and that will be that debut album Conditions is an epic.
The Temper Trap have a very distinct sound, due in part to vocalist ‘Dougie’ and his unique vocals. Despite displaying a clear flair for the up-tempo numbers the Temper Trap show that there is a depth to their repertoire with ‘Peter Parker’s Alter Ego’.
The debut release from the Temper Trap shows a lot of promise and judging from the buzz coming out of their live shows they are definitely a band to keep an eye on.
